The ‘Care to Drive’ is connecting clients to drivers, and volunteers to patients from any location, on any device, seamlessly, using an internet connection.
During Colin’s volunteer experience transporting clients to and from their cancer treatments throughout the duration of their care, he recognized the need for a system to connect clients, drivers, and administrators. With over 30 years’ experience writing and developing desktop and web-based systems, Colin successfully developed Care to Drive.
While collaborating with Care Transit in Hope, BC, they identified the need to expand the system to schedule other tasks where volunteers were involved. Building from his original system designed for just drivers, the Care to Drive system can schedule yard work, housework, trips to the store or hospital, etc.
The users of caretodrive.ca will experience a smooth scheduling environment, better matching of volunteers, better reporting for audits, calling, emailing, texting, and the assistance of Google Maps connectivity to guide your volunteers all at a reasonable, monthly cost.
