Community Futures’ Skills Development Fund provides up to $1,000 in funding for projects that:

• Provide skills training that supports business development, entrepreneurship, and/or leadership development.
• Align with Community Futures Strategic Priorities.
• Provide marketing and promotional opportunities for Community Futures.
• Show investment by the proponent and support from other funders.

Eligible Organizations

Incorporated not-for-profits and Band governments are eligible for funding.

For-profit organizations may be eligible where the project intent is to benefit a group of businesses (i.e. sector development).
